Hi I’m Chetto!

I’m the kind of hairstylist that will make all of your color dreams possible. With my 14 years of experience I’ve worked on all types and textures of hair, big or small transformations. I feel at my best when I can get my hands on COLOR! The bold, vibrant, and unconventional looks are my jam! To me hair painting is therapeutic, it’s an active meditation for me when I can use my level of focus to create masterpieces. I live by this mantra “The world is your canvas, create your masterpiece.”

Since as a child I was always an artist, from drawing to painting to sculpting. I found my love of doing hair shortly after I graduated high school and then became licensed shortly after. Hair is literally all I know how to do. From creating out of this world rainbows to beautiful balayage looks to precision, alternative gender affirming cuts. I value the connection behind stylist to clients. I want all my clients to feel inspired, heard, accepted, and most of all confident!

I’m a raver at heart! I like to attend underground events and little festivals in my community as this is a key way how I love to meet people. Music is a universal energy that everyone loves. When I’m not out dancing I’m either relaxing at home working on my many little craft hobbies, working on spellwork, or brewing something up in the kitchen, or taking some time out in nature to connect back with Mother Gaia.

Hey Hair Bestie!

I’m Cheyenne!

I’m originally from a small town of under 500 people in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. After visiting my sister in the Bay Area in 2016 for the summer, I spontaneously decided to make California my new home. The people closest to me would describe me as a fun, caring, self-aware, goofy, and encouraging person.

Keeping your natural hair healthy is my number one priority. Whether that be by growing out your hair by wearing extensions, or doing multiple lightening sessions to reach your goal, your hair health is always number one. I have very fine hair naturally, and I understand how to treat finer, lower density hair types through my year-long training I went through with Erin in 2022.

My favorite services to perform are hair transformations. I love giving someone an immediate change with hair extensions or major color work. If you want something completely different from what you currently have, I’m your girl! I love lightening all hair types and levels, as each level needs specific guidelines in order to achieve a flawless look. When it comes to cutting hair, I love creating more alternative styles like shags, mullets, and heavy layers. I believe in letting your personality shine through your hair!

When I’m not in the salon, I love punching my stress away at Title Boxing in Sacramento, or taking on a new DIY home project. My typical night in with my partner Noah always involves some type of funny action movie and yummy sushi or Mexican food.

Hourly Rate $80            Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday

I recently changed my whole world and moved to California from Chicago September of 2022. I’m a city girl through and through but I’m loving all the beauty of the many places I can travel to right here in Northern California.

My goal is to help you feel like your most authentic, unapologetic self. I want you to be able to scream to the world who you are. I find inspiration from nature, anime, art, and theater.
Hair is my art and my passion.

I love getting to create amazing looks through Vivids, Blonding, and Hair Extensions. I believe mermaid hair is for everyone and anyone. Alternative hair screams to my heart. The inspo picture from your favorite anime character excites me. Blonding is an adventure and exhilarating. Extensions are major confidence boosters and extremely transforming in so many ways. Hair is an attitude, a personality, a mood, it’s what ever you want it to be. I also love getting to design hair and makeup for photo shoots and theater.
When I’m not behind the chair I am hanging with my furbabies, checking out a new pop up, going to emo nights and other concerts. I really enjoy experiencing the world around me and living a colorful life.

Michaela became a licensed cosmetologist in 2022 after 10 years in retail, 5 years  in management and attended University of Massachusetts Amherst as a Business Major.

Her years in retail cultivated a passion for working one on one with clients to make them feel like their best selves in a safe accepting environment.

In her off time she loves spending time with her partner and their toe beaned children. She loves everything pink and glittery, going to the farmers market, reading books, and traveling (with a full agenda of museums and places to eat).

Michaela joined Obsidian Hair Studio as a Co-stylist in 2023, with the goal of becoming an extension and vivids specialist.

Hi there!

My name is Natasha, but you can also call me Tasha. I was born in San Diego, CA, but due to being in a military family, I grew up on the east coast close to Washington DC. I decided to go south for college where I attended Florida Gulf Coast University and worked toward a Bachelor’s degree in Resort and Hospitality Management. Prior to my last semester I was working in a luxury hotel, and I decided I wanted to attend cosmetology school.

I met my husband during the college years and he got stationed out here in Nor Cal which was super exciting for me in terms of cosmetology school. I knew how much opportunity this industry could provide out here and was pumped to get started.

A few of my favorite things are music, exercising, reading, playing with my 2 kitties, being in the sun, snowboarding in the winter, and trying out different restaurants with my husband!

I graduated from school in October of 2021 and went into assisting a salon owner right after. I have assisted since and just made the move over to Obsidian. I am super excited to be on this team and continue to grow my career and clientele!

I will be providing services such as highlights, balayage, all over color, touch ups, smoothing services, haircuts and extensions.

Hi! My name is Nikki, and I’ve been working in the Roseville area for almost a year :) I have been licensed since 2016, and spent that time in barber shops. There I became proficient in fading, and pixie cut techniques. Ready to jump back into the full service world, I’ve missed doing all of the things that go into making hair beautiful & healthy! I can’t wait to meet everyone that sits in my chair, and have the appointment tailored specifically for YOU :)

I'm Erin, owner of Obsidian Hair Studio. I specialize in:

  • Hair Extensions for Fine Hair

  • Efficient Luxury Hair Color

I love creating beautiful hair that works in your lifestyle, and helping you solve your hair and scalp problems.

I started doing hair in 2015 and I opened the salon in 2021. At home I have my partner & husband, our son, and one silly pit bull.

After getting my degree in Sociology from Chico State in 2006, I tried two times at graduate school that led me to an unfulfilling corporate management career. In 2013, I decided not only to marry my best friend but start hair school at night.

I feel fortunate to live, work, and raise my little in such a wonderful community and am excited to shake up the salon world with our slice of hair heaven!
